The founder found themselves in the gap.

LumaScale was born out of personal experience, not a market opportunity. Our founder found themselves navigating a chronic health condition Ankylosing Spondyloarthritis while simultaneously watching attention and screen time erode the focus and energy needed to manage it. Two problems, no adequate tools for either one.

That experience revealed something broader: there are real people with real challenges who have been left behind by software that was built for the average, not the specific. People managing chronic conditions who need more than a generic health journal. People losing hours to their phones who don't want punishment they want a gentle hand back to themselves.

LumaScale is the answer to that gap. An independent mobile technology company developing productivity and lifestyle apps for everyday people each one rooted in the kind of understanding that only comes from having lived the problem yourself.

Sometimes that's a phone that demands more attention than the people in the room. Sometimes it's a chronic condition that makes tomorrow unpredictable.
